Students sometimes ask me to add them to a course I'm teaching, either because the course is full or a special circumstance prevents them from enrolling. I appreciate your interest or your need to fulfill degree requirements. However, I don't have the ability to add students to my courses, regardless of circumstances.
If you're an undergraduate, please contact your academic advisor about enrolling in my course. (If you don't know who your academic advisor is, ask a staff member in your department or college.) If you're a graduate student, please contact your department's graduate program office. Either way, explain to them why you want to enroll in my course and that you haven't been able to. The person you speak with might be able to add you directly, or they might give you instructions that you should carefully follow.
Some instructors ignore emails from students about enrollment, but I felt bad doing that, so I created this page to send instead. Unless you have further questions or concerns, there’s no need to reply to the email I sent you containing this link.
